The Moore chair takes its name from the renowned astronomer; whose rather eccentric appearance was further exaggerated by his use of a monocle. Our quirky bent plywood chair, with its single ‘eye’ placed to one side of the back, is our first product partially made outside of the UK. The curved plywood part of the chair is made at a sawmill in the heart of a European FSC forest, where trees go in one end and the formed plywood seat comes out the other, making it a very efficient and sustainable process. The bespoke steel wire frames are made here in Britain where we put the components together by hand.
Our bent plywood dining chair is made with coffee shops and restaurants in mind, and being available in a range of finishes and veneers, it can be adapted to fit with the style of your interior.
