The Moore chair is a quirky bent plywood chair with a single ‘eye’ placed to one side of the back. It is our first product partially made outside of the UK. The curved plywood part of the chair is made at a sawmill in the heart of a European FSC forest, where trees go in one end and the formed plywood seat comes out the other, making it a very efficient and sustainable process. The bespoke steel wireframes are made here in Britain where we put the components together by hand. The Moore chair takes its name from the renowned astronomer; whose rather eccentric appearance was further exaggerated by his use of a monocle.
Our bent plywood dining chair is available as an upholstered version too which can be covered in a range of fabrics or leather. Designed with coffee shops and restaurants in mind, both styles of these stackable chairs are available in a variety of finishes and veneers, making them very adaptable to fit with the style of your interior.
